It’s a fact of life – kids get bored. And when kids get
bored, their summer vacation becomes less of a vacation and more of a hassle.
When so many parents work 9-to-5 jobs, which really have the time to plan three
months of activities in advance? Well, who says you have to?
That’s where summer camps come in. Summer camps are the
perfect way to give your child something to do that will not only ease their
boredom but will also teach them things in the process. Let’s take a look at

Hey, you West Coasters! You may not realize that there
are oodles of specialized summer camps and things to do in Los Angeles. Take,

from encouraging a child’s love for arts and crafts to helping him or her

Summer Camps in San Francisco
Looking for entertaining things to do in San Francisco?
Well, look no further! San Fran has several sports camps that can be a great
way to toss the ball around and stay in shape. From baseball to soccer,
gymnastics to basketball, there’s sure to be a sports-themed summer camp in
your area that is of interest to your little athlete.
JCCSF Camps and Classes is located at 3200 California
Street in San Fran, and you can enroll your child in such activities as
baseball, basketball, and even ballet! If your little one is more of a gymnast,
AcroSports at 639 Frederick Street in San Fran is just the place for him or her
to train to become the next Olympic medalist! If you’re looking for sports
things to do in San Francisco, there’s never a sports camp that’s too far away.
Summer Camps in DC
Don’t think we forgot about you, East Coasters! There
are just as many fun things to do in DC as there are in California. Do you have
a little dancer in the family? Well, over at Dumbarton House (2715 Que Street
NW in DC), your child can learn early American and African American dance
routines.
If your child is more of a rocker than a dancer,
